Heart of Glass is the baby of Kristina Adams, who came up with the concept four days before her twenty-second birthday, whilst reading a magazine. In said magazine, it was talking about female empowerment alongside articles on diets, obsessing over boys, and how important Kate Middleton’s fashion sense is. She found herself irritated and infuriated, and decided to do a better – or at least different – job herself.
Heart of Glass is therefore all about the empowerment of you. It’s about how fabulous you are just the way you are, and how you can embrace that. It’s about inspiring people, great food, and the things that we should always look out for, such as our friends, family, and health. Whilst we do write articles about diets and dating, we’re not going to psychoanaylse that phone call you had at three o’clock in the morning with your ex, tell you how great this diet or that diet is (we don’t believe in diets), nor are we going to care when Justin Bieber gets floured. Or was it Kim Kardashian? Whatever. We don’t care.
We care about you.
